William's growing...

Went to the pediatrician on Monday and William proved he is growing well!
                 16 lbs even!
                 25 inches long
                 16.5 inches head circumference

He is mommy's little man, growing so fast! We love to kiss his chubby cheeks!

Sunday morning giggles with Mom and Dad

warm for me then Mom and Dad kick her out!

My name is William and I am now 4 months old! Mommy and Daddy think I am growing waaaayyyy toooo fast but I don't! My favorite thing is to play with mom and dad, especially when they make funny faces for me to smile and laugh at. Dad likes to play in front of the mirror, I really enjoy seeing what is reflected back at us! I also love to do tummy time while listening to music with daddy! I practice my rolling over and mom and dad cheer for me. I think my mom added a video of me rolling over. I really like to practice sitting up and standing while holding onto mom and dads hands, I am getting really good! I have started to sleep in my crib at night, although I usually sneak into mom and dads bed in the early morning hours. Mom likes to put me to sleep while singing and lightly scratching the top of my head. It usually takes me a while to fall asleep, but I'm getting better. My favorite toy right now is my hands, I chew on them most of the day, they just taste soooo good! I also like my taggie dog stuffed animal, it has nice bright colors and different textures in all the fun tags on his ears, I like to chew on his paws. Daycare has been going okay, I like watching all the other kids play, but I would much rather be home with mommy and daddy :), I think they kinda like to hang out with me too, especially since I am giving them so many wonderful smiles these days! I have an appointment with my doctor on Monday the 28th. I'm not really looking forward to it since I'm gonna get more stinking shots, but my mom will post my new numbers when we get home, if I'm not too upset that is!

Busy busy weekends...





Big hands, little hands.



These past two weekends have been busy in the Gonnsen household. As you all know we are adding a bathroom to our finished basement, which has turned out to be quite the project! We started back in October, and are just now getting close to finishing. The weekend before last Grandpa G came out to help Adam lay the tile, then this last weekend Grandpa Nixon (and Grandma Nixon) came up to visit and help do the finishing touches. We still have to finish the shower but here is a video of the (almost) completed bathroom. It looks so great and we really appreciate everyone's help. We could not have done it without you all. Meanwhile I am bad and didn't take any photos except this one from my phone, which again is downloading with the weird gray strip but I thought it was cute so I added it anyway. Hopefully I'll be able to fix it someday!

William's first Brewpub and Bar!

William at Nash's bar in Chico at 7 1/2 weeks with his great Aunt June and her friend Donna. Will did not like the flash in the dark room, but the ladies sure enjoyed his company! Will did have a drink...of breastmilk!

I had a suggestion that I should include Will's first outing to a bar in his blog so here we are! Starting at a young age...oh no!
